John’s experience includes VP of Business development for Corning Inc.’s subsidiary US Precision Lens, which grew from $38M to $250M in revenue over the years he ran business and product development. John has worked in materials and components for displays since 1981.

Kenneth Dean Kenneth A. Dean

Ph.D. – Northwestern University

Dr. Dean has directed display development programs for both emissive and reflective technologies, most recently as Manager of Advanced Displays R&D at Motorola. He brings experience fabricating display modules and creating partnerships. Dr. Dean holds 22 issued patents and has co-authored more than 50 technical publications.

Jason Heikenfeld Jason Heikenfeld

Ph.D. University of Cincinnati

Dr. Heikenfeld invented electrofluidic displays and is an Associate Professor at University of Cincinnati. Dr. Heikenfeld is an internationally known expert in display devices and electrowetting technology. He is director of the Novel Devices Lab at the university, which over the past for years has been supported by >$4M in funding. He is far more than academic, having corporate projects with two U.S., two European, three Asian display companies, and having now co-founded his second start-up venture.
